The Departments are as follows :

Θ Basic Principles: 
This department provides for the teaching of Sanskrit, Fundamental principles of Ayurveda and the main texts of Ayurveda. A good foundation is laid by experienced scholars.
Θ Anatomy (Shareera Rachana)
Dissection of the dead bodies is undertaken for better understanding of the subjects. The students take active part in dissecting the human body. Similarly students are exposed to the lab for conducting practical on normal physiological values.
Θ Physiology (Shareera Kriya)
In the department of Physiology, various metabolical activities of the human body such as examining the Blood Pressure, Temperature, Urine & Blood Sugar etc., would be taught and students are exposed to Clinical Trials.
Θ Pharmacology of plants (Dravyaguna)
There are innumerable plants that have medicinal values. In this department, the properties, structure and action of the various botanical/ medicinal plants are being taught.
The students visit the herbal garden located in the premises of the college. This herbal garden covers an area of about 5 acres. Many rare varieties of herbal trees, plants, shrubs, creepers etc., are grown in the garden. The students practically learn to identify the plants, as a result learning process becomes practical oriented.
Θ Toxicology and Forensic Medicine (Agada Tantra & Vyavahara Aynrveda)
Knowledge about various poisonous plants and poisons of animals, animal bites etc., and their antidotes are being taught to the students. Forensic medicine deals with medico-legal aspects. The students are posted to the post mortem section for practical classes.
Θ Preparation of Natural, Herbal and Mineral Medicine (Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana)
This department provides the knowledge of various herbs and minerals that are being used in Ayurveda. The identification, purification,properties, use arid doses are taught to the students in detail. The various herbs and minerals arc preserved in the museum of the department, which provides an opportunity for the students to learn.
Preparations various types of medicine are taught and practically students are engaged in the same.
Θ Preventive and Social Medicine (Swastha Vritta and Yoga)
This department teaches the basics of the occurrence of diseases, its etiology, premonitory symptoms, and prognosis. The pathological basis of all the diseases are taught. Intensive clinical training is provided in the hospital with the patients and the clinical methods are taught to the students.
The 8 branches of Yoga and the basic principle of Yoga are taught to the students with demonstration.
Θ Basic and Clinical Pathology (Vikruthi Vignana & Roga Nidana)
Principles of management of various diseases and the treatment to be given are taught to the students along with the clinical class. Here students are allowed to examine the patients, observe the treatment given and progress of the patients.
Θ General Medicine (Kaya Chikitsa)
Principle of management of various diseases and the treatment to be given are taught to the students along with the clinical class. Here students are allowed to examine the patients, observe the treatment given and progress of the patients.
Θ Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics (Prasooti, Stri Roga & Koumara Brithya)
Provides the theoretical & practical knowledge of Obstetrics (antenatal, natal and postnatal) and Gynecology (various diseases of women) and Pediatrics (neonatal, child care and treatment).
Θ Eye and ENT (Shalya and Shalakya)
Department of Shalakya comprises Eye & ENT. The various diseases of these organs and their treatments are taught to the students with clinical exposure. The department of Shalya along with clinical training teaches the basic principle of surgery, surgical diseases and various surgical methods advocated in Ayurveda. In addition, some of the surgery of modern systems are also taught to the students.
